The fabric in the pictures is not fire-resistant material. There is not an attachment system with this product. When using your fireplace, simply remove the Noggin' Bumper Hearth Pad. The Noggin' Bumper should not be used while the fireplace is in use. The Noggin' Bumper folds up just right for storage behind a door, under a bed, or in a closet.
